“Nazaré”
2020 Acrylic on Canvas
Inspired by my trip to Portugal, this painting sold in the Rockport Art Association & Museum RAA&M National 2020 Exhibition.
This painting is a meticulously-created original acrylic on a 20″ x 30″ x 3/4″ gallery wrapped canvas. The medium-textured duck canvas is triple primed with acid-free acrylic gesso and hand stretched over kiln-dried stretcher bars from environmentally managed forests.
Colors include Payne’s grey, titanium white, ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, and metallic gold.
I use professional-grade paints and pouring mediums. My technique includes pouring, palette knife and brushwork.
The edges are painted so it can be hung without a frame, and the art is varnished with a satin finish. Hanger will be provided.
Each painting is signed on the back and created with a grateful mindset.
