This piece received Honorable Mention in the March 2020 Grey Cube Gallery “Nature” international competition.
This unframed abstract painting is a meticulously-created original acrylic painting on a 18″ x 24″ x 3/4″ stretched canvas. The medium-textured duck canvas is triple primed with acid-free acrylic gesso and hand stretched over kiln-dried stretcher bars from environmentally managed forests.
Colors include slate blue, light gray, dark gray, peach, teal, blush, pale yellow and titanium white.
I use professional-grade paints and pouring mediums. My technique includes pouring, dipping, palette knife and brushwork with visible brushstrokes and texture.
The canvas edges are painted so it can be hung without a frame, and the art is unvarnished for a matte finish. Hanger will be provided.
Each painting is signed on the back and created with a grateful mindset.
